I am writing to inform others of a complaint regarding the discriminatory treatment I experienced at the hands of Chris Bluth, an agent at Bluth Insurance Agency Inc. This complaint pertains to an incident that occurred during my recent interaction with Mr. Bluth regarding a change of address and refund issue. On 02/06/2024, my ex-spouse and I contacted Mr. Bluth to inform him of a change of address due to the sale of our previous home. Despite providing clear instructions for updating my address, Mr. Bluth disregarded my request and instead utilized my ex-spouse's change of address without my consent. It is evident that Mr. Bluth exhibited preferential treatment towards my ex-spouse based on his gender, as he assumed the male address was more valid or relevant. Throughout our interaction, Mr. Bluth displayed rude, abrupt, and insensitive behavior towards me. He failed to acknowledge my concerns, disregarded my requests for resolution, and offered no viable solution to remediate the situation. His demeanor was erratic and unprofessional, further exacerbating the distress caused by his discriminatory actions. As a result of Mr. Bluth's actions, I now face the inconvenience of a refund check being sent to an address associated with my ex-spouse's family, despite my explicit instructions to the contrary. This oversight not only reflects Mr. Bluth's incompetence but also highlights the systemic discrimination and disregard for female customers within Bluth Insurance Agency Inc. Furthermore, I possess documented evidence of previous communications with Mr. Bluth, wherein he has disregarded my inquiries and treated me disparagingly. This pattern of behavior demonstrates a clear bias towards female clients and underscores the need for immediate corrective action."
